Marvila is one of the most creative neighbourhoods in Lisbon. We are surrounded by really cool restaurants and art projects. Scroll down through our selection of the most relevant spots in Marvila. If you want to come and check it out, feel free to drop by our warehouse. Just follow the Google Maps links 😉
Aquele lugar que não existe
Our simple pleasure
Probably the weirdest place to eat in Marvila. Aquele Lugar que não existe means ”that place that doesn’t exist” and it welcomes you in a cutting edge chaotic interior. The wonderful Indian buffet and the world’s best thin pizzas will surprise you. For us, it’s a simple tasteful pleasure.
Fábrica de Braço de Prata
Our Friday’s terrace
Fábrica de Braço de Prata is an old war materials factory. Today you can find at least 20 mutant rooms for music concerts, art exhibitions, movie projections and etc. Usually we come here for a beer on Fridays. You can show up too.
LAV – Lisboa ao Vivo
30/01 Jeff Mills
Our coolest neighbour
Underdogs is a cultural platform based in Lisbon. If you like art, you’ll love this.
Our next door brewery
Musa is pretty much our backyard brewery. The old traditional craftsmen methods result in a great beer selection, perfect for a relaxed after work catch up or to have a more informal business meeting.
Our fancy Chinese
Dinastia Tang is probably the most fancy chinese restaurant in Lisbon. If you’re looking for great asian food try the Tang flavours.
Our big sin
Maravilhas has the best “Francesinha” in Lisbon. We try to go there only from time to time to avoid calorie escalation. It’s not the most elegant place in Marvila, but it’s worth a visit, believe us.
One | Armazém 16
Our first stop
We have a special relationship with this old warehouse. It’s right next door and we created the name, logo and the brand’s communication mood. One houses massive events, photo sessions, advertising commercials, etc.
Café Com Calma
Our morning coffee
Com Calma means “take it slow” in Portuguese. This lovely place welcomes everyone with extremely good taste and homemade food. It’s great to have lunch with friends or just relax after a busy day.
Companhia Portuguesa de Bailado Contemporâneo
Our elegant neighbours
The Companhia Portuguesa de Bailado Contemporâneo is just around the corner. To be honest, we’ve never been there for auditions, but you never know.
Our extra desk
It’s not really our extra desk but it could be. WorkHub is a co-work with an innovative commercial proposal. You have a wide range of options for your project.
Hub Criativo do Beato
Our creative giant neighbour
Hub Criativo do Beato is a dynamic space in a permanent construction. You’ll find events, co-working and urban art exhibitions.
Convento do Beato
Our most beautiful events
Built in the 15th century, it’s one of our oldest neighbours. Convento do Beato, classified as a Property of Public Interest since 1984, currently houses cultural and social events.
Rui do Barrote
Our favorite barbecue
Get your slang ready to go to Rui do Barrote. Relax and have the best roasted meat in the world. Also, get to know Dália, the waitress. She doesn’t bite her tongue.
7ª Arte Alfacinha
Basqueiro means everything mixed together (food, chatter, music and laughter). 7ª Arte Alfacinha has a buffet and a fun atmosphere. Go on Thursdays to try Cozido à Portuguesa.
Jardim do poço do Bispo
Our fado heritage
Jardim do Poço do Bispo is a typical Portuguese restaurant. Overlooking Poço do Bispo little garden, it’s perfect if you’re craving something well served and seasoned.
Our next door creative factory
Fábrica moderna is where random people share their knowledge and discuss ideas. Perfect for brainstorming, co-working and other creative meetings.
Our everyday promisse
Crossfit Alvalade is the perfect spot whenever we need to unload energies and feel “fit” for at least 15 minutes. Here, push-ups are made and weights are raised without any fear.
It’s in Teatro Ibérico that we find inspiration to have an active voice. This place invites us to emerge in some original and radical contemporary artistic proposals.
